October 2001 - Cane Swap - Hostess, Donna W. MT.
great job Donna. These are a few of the canes I sent in, several out
of 2 dozen, what fun!!!
And this is what I got in return: wowsers wowsers!!!
I sliced all the canes and put them onto a gourd (what else for me?) that
became two bowls. The insides of the bowls are done with paint and
Future. The outsides have not been completed because I was so
anxious to get these up so everyone could see them. But looky here -
- -
Look at the crowd of faces, isn't that a kick? and
more faces, and all sort of treasures. This particular bowl has not
been baked at this point and needs one more part finished - later -
Pic 2,3 has been baked but nothing has been completely
finished. I attached a black strip at the end or middle of each
section and noted the name of the maker.
I'm not really sure how this will go together yet but will
be sure to let all of you know when its up and ready. What a fun
time.!!
This is a gourd vase with Luny's fish cane and my
underwater wonders. Get well Luny and enjoy your vase.
